Job - Equipment Operator

JOB OPENING
The Lincoln County Public Works Dept has one opening for a regular full-time Equipment Operator in the Wilbur Shop. Under immediate supervision, performs manual labor and operates any of the following types of equipment: end-dump trucks, front‑end loaders, backhoes, excavator, and related equipment to maintain and repair drainage structures and county roads.
The salary range for this position has been established at Grade 1 Step 1 at $2,524 to Grade 2 Step 6 at $ 3,606.
Minimum Qualifications:
Minimum educational requirements are high school education or equivalent.
Class A Commercial Drivers License (CDL) with necessary endorsements.
Minimum five (5) years experience performing heavy equipment repair and maintenance or equivalent experience and training.
